I am the Assistant to the Manager (Catherine). I have lived in Arizona over 35 years, splitting my time between Tucson and Phoenix. I connected with Catherine in school and now I am happy to say that over 10 years later I am able to be her shop assistant.  I love assisting on whatever project she is creating. I love painting, staining, sanding, etc.  It is cathartic for me doing these activities and once the project is complete I love that feeling of accomplishing something that someone will enjoy and be able to use or display in their home.  During my shop assistant time, I found another passion of mine and have been able to add to the business.  I find such joy, relaxation, and stress relieving in coloring. Anytime I am out I am searching for the perfect adult coloring book, but it has been a struggle. I have found that some are so intricate and would take so long to complete that it was not relaxing at all and, most times, felt like work.  I took matters into my own hands and began creating my own versions of adult coloring patterns. Coloring the pages I create is a great feeling, because not only did I create them, but they are relaxingly completed over a shorter period of time.  I don't like leaving things unfinished so to have a page I can color throughout the day helps me feel accomplished in a way. I take the time to create fun patterns that aren't so overwhelmingly intricate.  I have recently added affirmations to these pages to add positivity to my days that I do decide to color. It's just a fun simple way for me to keep a positive thought in my head while I relax and relieve my stress.
