Between the Bark created a custom leash rack for Lindsey over at Unleash the Peace, where she offers one on one dog training. Lindsey is very passionate about teaching humans how to clearly and safely communicate with their dogs and understand what makes their dogs tick. She has helped the pups of Between the Bark learn how to “place” in order to quiet their inner chaos, how to walk with manners on the leash and she even helped our Great Dane, Luna learn how to swim. Not only does Lindsey own Unleash the Peace for dog training, she also owns This Little Doggie Stayed Home, a dog walking and sitting service for families and individuals who need an extra helping hand during the day to exercise their pups or to check in during long hours away from home.

Veterans and first responders are also incredibly important in Lindsey’s life, so much so that she started a non-profit called Everyday Heroes & Hounds. The mission is to give back to those who give so much to the community by offering not only free dog training to Veterans and first responders but also to raise awareness of their mental health and suicide rates.
