This double desk with a middle printer/storage cabinet was custom ordered by parents of two teenage girls. They wanted a desk that could be out in the family area to work on homework and could be used with their existing breakfast bar chairs. With this desk, it is three pieces, so they can be moved into any room individually or as a unit if needed. They have lift up tops that allow for storage of school supplies inside the desks and the middle cabinet has roll out shelves for easy access to a printer. The whole desk unit is made from Sapele, a wood species of the mahogany family that is known for its deep amber color and straight ribbon like grain patterns.
