This serving board was made from 100 year old cherry wood that had fallen down on a friend of the family’s land in Tennessee. It was commissioned by Diana and Mike Martinez as a present for Mike’s parents. Diana had asked that it include chili peppers embedded in epoxy and after a few idea sessions this is what we decided to move forward with. Finished with 100% Tung Oil, bringing out the natural beauty of the cherry wood while providing a food safe, long lasting protection.
